ISSUES

We must secure the Southern Border and stop the flow of illegal drugs from flooding into our country. This isn’t just a talking point for Addison, it’s personal. His younger brother died of a fentanyl overdose, the same fentanyl entering our country daily due to Joe Biden’s failure at the border.

North Carolinians have all seen how a community can be decimated by the free-trade agenda pushed by previous Presidents, Democrat and Republican alike. That’s why Addison supports President Trump’s America First Agenda that protects and promotes American jobs.

Addison believes that the right to self-defense is a God-given, constitutional right of every law-abiding American. As an avid hunter and gun enthusiast, Addison will fight government overreach that aims to disrupt North Carolinians’ 2nd Amendment rights.

Every life, born or unborn, is a precious gift from God. I will vote 100% pro-life and will champion pro-life causes and legislation in Congress. Unfortunately, the Biden administration has been the most pro-abortion White House in American history. This administration is trying every chance they get to use taxpayer resources to pay for and promote abortion. They want no limits on abortion, even up to the 9th month. I will protect life and also champion pro-family policies that will ease the burden of child-bearing for women and families.

Free, fair, and secure elections are essential to a functioning country. I will oppose all attempts to federalize elections. Not only is that unconstitutional, but politicians in DC have already screwed up enough. I don’t trust them to cut spending and secure the border, let alone administer our elections fairly. The vast majority of Americans believe you should show an ID to vote. States should only get federal grants if they require a voter ID to vote. We should also tighten restrictions on absentee voting, so that all votes are received by election day & signature verification is used to ensure voter fraud doesn’t occur.

We must encourage innovation here in the United States. Unfortunately, the lack of regulatory clarity when it comes to digital assets risks forcing this new and promising technology overseas. Addison believes the United States should be a leader in creating a forward-looking, pro-innovation crypto policy. This means avoiding burdensome government regulation and opposing efforts to create central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).
