Addison McDowell’s First TV Ad Tells Voters About Losing His Younger Brother to Fentanyl

McDowell’s First Ad Explains Why He’s Running and Why President Donald Trump Endorsed Him

January 31, 2024

(Arcadia) – Addison McDowell’s campaign for Congress went on TV today with their first TV ad. Politics in the 21st century can be shallow, callous, and petty. This is not one of those times.

Critics have questioned why Addison is running. And Addison tells everyone why in his first ad titled “Luke.”

Addison’s younger brother, Luke, wasn’t perfect but he was well-meaning if a bit off-track. And he was a son and a brother. Luke took what he thought was a Xanax, but it was a pill laced with Fentanyl. And Addison’s younger brother died, triggering the notification chain of events every law enforcement officer and every parent dreads.

Addison McDowell lost his little brother to illegal Fentanyl, likely manufactured in China and smuggled across the Southern border from Mexico. For Addison McDowell, shutting down the crisis at our Southern border isn’t a political trite talking point. It’s life and, sadly, death for his family. Addison knows if we don’t shut down the crisis on our Southern border, it could be death for a lot of other families too.

It’s why President Donald Trump endorsed Addison McDowell for Congress. It’s why Ted Budd endorsed Addison McDowell for Congress. It’s why one of the largest law enforcement groups in NC endorsed Addison McDowell for Congress.

Addison McDowell knows first-hand the price paid for not shutting down the Obama/Biden open-borders policies that have created the crisis at our Southern border. President Donald Trump and Ted Budd know Addison McDowell understands the mission and Trump and Budd know McDowell will do whatever it takes to complete the mission.

That’s why they support him for Congress. And it’s why you should too. Watch the ad here.
